When reality winner joined the military
She chose to do so as an act of conscience
To forego a full ride from some university
All to help the war torn people from some far off country
Never knowing the enemy could be so contagious
There was hate all around in intercepted wires
While the innocent among us is caught in cross fire

Well president trump was reality’s nightmare
And all of a sudden she was working for the enemy
Who was preaching pure hate for anyone unlike him
All the good and the poor were perceived as villains
And the country she loved had been stolen from her
By the real enemy but she had the dirt on him

Well reality winner did the work of a martyr
She leaked the information that he stole the election
With his russian cronies who only wanna use him
Who wanna turn the world order into a corporate oligarchy
Who wanna turn her own country into a worldwide farce
All to benefit the rich who’ve forgotten who they are

Well the press took the leak that reality gave them
And they sent it to the agency that should’ve already been on it
And with their pitiful tech, they put the finger on her
Now she’s facing the weight of the entire US government
For a crime they committed that she would not stand for
Just a US citizen, miss reality winner

A vegan yoga teacher born in corpus christi
Thrust in the middle of the fight of the century
She is fighting for us, the conscious among us
We can fight for her, miss reality winner
May her name signify the new possibility
That everyone on this earth has the power to change the world
