the edge cuts sharp like a knife good or bad
our feed is flood with updates on the battleline
when very often the enemy is working on the same side

In the beginning, I tried to be open
and ever since then a shade has enveloped me
fought in the trenches of waking and in our dreams
so, long ago, I knew I had to go underground
but I know you've felt my presence

[Protagonist] ..And there was this woman who brought us all down into this bunker in a museum, and she hadn't said anything but i could
tell she was recruiting us all as, like, psychic warriors in
this war that was going on, and i wanted to tell her about all
the dreams i had been having over the summer but she
hushed me and gave me a look like it wasn't the right place to say..

I dont know how, but i knew that i had this special
information that i could tell these people didnt want me
to have, or they didnt know if i had it, but they were trying to
find out if i did, and i just remember thinking,
if i keep on singing they cant get to me, just keep on singing,
and they cant get to me-

but once i did the whole room disappeared and i was
in this field with my dog, and my parents, and my sisters
and they were like, where did you go, and i told them what
happened and they didn't care but after a second i realized
we were all on the beach and i had already woken up

[British reporter] The plenipotentiary has commissioned a massive merger: Amazon, Alphabet, and--what's this?...Oh!..Ali Baba!!
